Post No. 9 is located in the area of direct recovery plants of Khuzestan Steel Complex and its main duties are to supply electricity to these units. Due to the existence of direct reduction plant units, the mentioned area is extremely polluted, the main cause of which is the existence of dust contamination of the iron concentrate. Building, public facilities and the main electrical equipment of this post, due to high pollution of the region and also its age, are in poor condition and hence cannot either provide adequate or reliable service. Hence, for revamping and development purposes, the installation of a 33/6.6 KV substation, along with its attributed DCS system (based on IEC 61850 standard), has been assigned to Rasmara Industrial Group.
